Whether a flag scarf works comes down to structure, not to pattern. On this scarf the green, white and black bands run the full length at equal width, while the red is gathered into a single solid block at each end — the structure of the flag is the structure of the scarf. Seen from the back of a parade line, it still reads as a flag rather than a set of stripes. Total length 188 cm including the 6 cm black tassels, width 15.5 cm — worn around the neck, it falls below the waist. The satin has a firm hand and resists creasing when folded, and the colour remains stable in direct sunlight.
This style has been produced for a client in the UAE, with the colourway, width and tassel length set to their requirements. Our factory holds 86 patents and has undertaken several United Nations agency contracts; test reports are available with the quotation.
